With zero emissions and lower noise, the 18V LXT Brushless Cordless 2-Piece Combo Kit (XT287SM1) is a welcome solution for clean-up applications. The kit includes an 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Blower (XBU03Z), 18V LXT Brushless String Trimmer (XRU23Z), 4.0 Ah Battery (BL1840B) and Charger (DC18SD). Both are powered by a single 18V LXT battery, the same battery that powers the full range of solutions in the expanding LXT system. This blower features a compact and ergonomic design, weighing in at only 6.5 lbs. and measuring 32-1/2 in. L. With no carbon brushes, the Makita BL Brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life and delivers speeds up to 116 MPH air velocity and a full 459 CFM. The efficient brushless motor delivers up to 6,000 RPM for faster cutting with the string trimmer. The string trimmer is equipped with a high/low button for power and run time management. There is also a variable speed trigger, allowing users to match the speed to the application.
